The fifth annual Jeans & Jewels Gala benefitting 24 Foundation is taking place on Saturday, May 31 from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. at the Urban Garden located on 150 N. College St. in Charlotte.

The event is co-chaired by veteran 24 Foundation rider and top fundraiser Sandy Mazoway and Amanda Glowacki of the Bank of America team. The fashion and auction event welcomes attendees to come dressed in formal attire and to be creative with incorporating something jean into the outfit. The event will feature dinner, drinks, live auction, silent auction, DJ and raffle.

A major staple of the event is The Inspiration Award, an award that recognizes an individual in the community who has fought the effects of cancer with great strength, but also serves as an exemplar of inspiration to other cancer survivors and to those involved with 24 Foundation. Know of someone deserving of this award? Nominations are open! Nominees may include a cancer fighter, survivor or someone affected by the disease. To nominate someone please email info@jeansandjewelscharlotte.com with your contact information, the person’s name and  a 1,000 word or less story about how that person has inspired you and the community to join in the fight to kick cancer’s booty. All nominations will be due Friday May 16.
