Welcome
24 Foundation’s mission is to inspire and engage communities to make an immediate impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. We are committed to investing in services that untangle the maze of appointments, tests, and treatments after diagnosis, and funding programs to increase the quality of life for survivors decades into the future.
Change the Course of Cancer
Founded in 2002 by one man riding a bike for 24 hours, 24 Foundation’s
signature annual event – 24 Hours of Booty – serves as a celebration of
survivorship, the power of peer-to-peer fundraising, and the spirit that
our participants live with every day. Participants commit to cycling or
walking as much or as little as they’d like within 24 hours. It isn’t a
race. Miles don’t matter. It’s an experience, celebration, and triumph.
While our main event takes place for just 24 hours, our work continues
throughout the year as our community, participants, volunteers, and
beneficiaries join together to change the course of cancer. Our other
fundraisers include the Superhero Stomp, 24,000 Meter Row-A-Thon and Bourbon For Booty. Stay tuned for ways you can get involved throughout the year.
Impact
Since its inception, 24 Foundation has raised more than $26 million to
support cancer navigation and survivorship programs through local and
national beneficiaries, with an ultimate goal of providing supportive
oncology programs and services for all.
