Grab those capes, tie up those laces, and get ready to take big steps for small heroes at 24 Foundation’s inaugural Superhero Stomp 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run and Walk.

The event will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 at McAlpine Creek Park, located at 8711 Monroe Road in Charlotte.

The Superhero Stomp is a great opportunity for superheroes of all ages to come out for a fun morning of fitness and take big steps for small heroes.

Participants of all ages can sign up as an individual or create a team. Fundraising is encouraged, but not required. Registration includes an event T-shirt, finisher medal, and event bib. Those who raise a minimum of $250 will receive a cool incentive prize. All proceeds from fundraising will benefit Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.

In keeping with the “Big Steps for Small Heroes” theme, participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero. Awards will be given for the top three finishers in each category, top individual fundraisers, top fundraising teams, best costume and best team costume.
